Regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Public hearings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Deviations from this schedule will be announced. Because of the present state of emergency, and until further notice, members of the public are urged not to attend Board of Supervisor meetings in person. All are encouraged to view and participate in meetings through electronic means. Meetings may be viewed live on RVTV, Channel 3, or on the County’s website https://roanokecountyva.gov(and accessed by clicking on the “Watch Board Meetings Online” button). Prior to and during meetings, citizens may share comments by email (to djacks@roanokecountyva.gov) or by phone (540-776- 7278). When submitting comments, please include your name and address. Comments submitted by email and by phone will be read aloud during meetings, subject to reasonable time limitations. For those individuals who desire to attend meetings in person, please be advised that seating modifications and limits have been established in order to facilitate social distancing; attendees who are not of the same household must sit six feet apart; and attendance at meetings will be limited to 25 individuals. Lewis Lionberger Construction for the base bid related to the Pre-engineered scope of work as bid per Roanoke County Invitation to Bid #2020-065(Rob Light, Director of General Services) D.PUBLIC HEARING 1.Public hearing to receive citizen comments regarding a proposed amendment to the fiscal year 2020-2021 budget in order to appropriate Cares Act funds, in accordance with Code of Virginia Section 15.2-2507(Laurie Gearheart, Director of Finance and Management Services) E.FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES 1.Ordinance accepting and appropriating funds in the amount of $8,217,365 from the Commonwealth of Virginia for the locally-based allocation distributed as a component of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act (Due to the Pandemic Disaster, it is requested, upon a four-fifths of 2020 vote of the Board, the second reading be waived and the ordinance adopted as an emergency measure) (Laurie Gearheart, Director of Finance and Management Services) 2.Ordinance approving a Site Use Agreement between New River Valley 911 Authority (NRV) and the County of Roanoke for use of a tower located on Poor Mountain, 8487 Honeysucke Road; Windsor Hills Magisterial District and accepting and appropriating $3,600 for the term of the lease(Bill Hunter, Director of Communications and Information Technology) 3.Emergency ordinance readopting Ordinance 033120-1 to effectuate temporary changes in certain deadline and to modify public meeting and public hearing practices and procedures to address continuity of operations associated with (Due to the Pandemic Disaster, it is requested, upon a pandemic disaster four-fifths vote of the Board, the second reading be waived and the ordinance adopted as an emergency measure) (Peter S.
