Regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Public hearings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Deviations from this schedule will be announced. The meetings are broadcast live on RVTV, Channel 3, and will be rebroadcast on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. Board of Supervisors meetings can also be viewed online through Roanoke County's website at www.RoanokeCountyVA.gov. Our meetings are closed-captioned, so it is important for everyone to speak directly into the microphones at the podium. Emergency Ordinance accepting and appropriating Federal Lands Access Program funds in the amount of $536,000 from the Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division of the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration and allocating $242,372 of Roanoke County funds for the Roanoke River Greenway from the Blue Ridge Parkway to Explore Park, UPC 110155, Vinton Magisterial District (Due to time constraints for the project, it is requested that the second reading be dispensed with upon an affirmative vote of 4/5ths of the members of the Board, and that this matter be deemed an emergency measure pursuant to Section 18.04 of the Roanoke County Charter) (Megan Cronise, Assistant Director of Planning) 2.
