Regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Public hearings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Deviations from this schedule will be announced. The meetings are broadcast live on RVTV, Channel 3, and will be rebroadcast on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. Board of Supervisors meetings can also be viewed online through Roanoke County’s website at www.RoanokeCountyVA.gov. Individuals who require assistance or special arrangements to participate in or attend Board of Supervisors meetings should contact the Clerk to the Board at (540) 772-2005 at least 48 hours in advance. (First Reading and Request for Second Reading and Public Hearing) 7.Request to accept and allocate funds in the amount of $81,362.56 for phone bill payments related to the NextGen911 PSAP grant. 8.Ordinance to accept and appropriate grant funds in the amount of $497,400 from the Virginia Department of Fire Programs for the Aid to Localities Funds (VDFP). (First Reading and Request for Second Reading) 9.Request to accept and allocate the grant funds in the amount of $187,735.00 from the Departm ent of Motor Vehicles for the purpose of Selective Enforcement. H.CITIZENS' COMMENTS AND COMMUNICATIONS This time has been set aside for Roanoke County citizens, County property owners, and County business owners to address the Board on matters of interest or concern. Work session to review with the Board of Supervisors the preliminary and unaudited financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025 for the County of Roanoke, Virginia, and the FY 2026-2027 Budget Development Process and Changes to the Comprehensive Financial Policy.
