Dear Members of the Board of Supervisors,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing on behalf of the residents of Montgomery Village to
formally request that the Board revisit the need for a second entrance to our neighborhood.
Montgomery Village now includes approximately 375 homes, yet we continue to rely on a
single access point. This presents ongoing safety concerns, traffic bottlenecks, and significant
challenges during emergencies, community events, and daily travel.
With the growth of our neighborhood and surrounding areas, a second entrance is no longer a
convenience—it is a necessity. Multiple-entry access is a standard expectation for
communities of our size to ensure safe evacuation routes, improved emergency response
times, and manageable traffic flow. Our current single-entrance design places residents at
unnecessary risk should that entrance ever be blocked or inaccessible.
We respectfully ask the Board to prioritize the evaluation and planning of an additional access
road for Montgomery Village. We are more than willing to assist with further information,
community feedback, or participation in any necessary studies or meetings.
Thank you for your time, attention, and continued service to our community. We hope this
issue can be addressed promptly for the safety and well-being of all Montgomery Village
residents.
Sincerely,
Amber Reed
