Good morning,
As a resident of Montgomery Village, I am keenly interested in seeing that a second exit for
our neighborhood is developed. As it stands, we have only one way in and out, Finney Drive
at Hardy Road. I understand that, as a part of the proposed townhome development in
Cardinal Park, a second exit is planned via Muse Drive.
Ideally, a connection with Cambridge Drive would be developed, through an unimproved
portion of Tax Map No. 071.10-03-77.00-0000. This would serve significantly more residents
of the Montgomery Village neighborhood, in case of emergency, due to its more centralized
location. From a review of the attached tax map, it is obvious that Cambridge Drive was
intended to be extended at a future date.
I would be most in favor of the Cambridge Drive connection, a much more logical solution for
our community, but would support a connection with Muse Drive.
