I would like to address this email to the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors.
Being a resident of Montgomery Village for 30 years, I can understand the necessity
of a second way in or out of the subdivision. I also understand how the residents of
Muse feel about the possibility of additional traffic on their street. This is a difficult
decision. However, I believe the needfulness of the many outweigh the few.
I would also like to address the speeding limit on Hardy Road. VDOT should be doing
studies during every season, which would include the LAKE traffic. This includes
people speeding while towing boats! The speed limit should be dropped to 35 mph
from Vinton to the parkway. If this study were done properly, the speeding and car
count would be reflected accordingly on the report similar to the one presented at the
last Board of Supervisors meeting.
I apologize for not being able to attend the meeting tonight.
