.......................................
When we met yesterday, you offered to
have Jeannette handle the rental of the
white tablecloths for the joint meeting
with Roanoke City Council on Tuesday,
July 9.
Since I will be on vacation and Brenda
will be pretty busy getting everything
else ready, I would appreciate if
Jeannette would handle that aspect. We
will need 11 tablecloths to fit 6-foot
tables. She should probably order next
week for pickup early on Tuesday. Just
have her charge them to the Board.
Thanks for all your help.

.......................................
I just talked with Bill Rand on the
phone and requested some help from
General Services on July 9 for the
joint meeting with Roanoke City
Council. He said he will be on
vacation and would "put you in charge".
The meeting will be in the Community
Room at the Brambleton Center at 12:00
noon. We will have a catered lunch
followed by a meeting. I will need
help from about 11:00 a.m. in setting
up the tables and chairs and assisting
the caterers with setup. We will have
about 25 for lunch following a tour of
the Teen Center.
I will then need help after the meeting
taking down the tables and chairs. I
will probably be there with the guys at
11:00 a.m., but will have to leave
after the lunch and meeting because we
will be having our regular board
meeting.
Let me know if you can get me at least
two people for assistance. I will be
on vacation all next week, but will be
here the rest of this week. If you
need anything next week, you can
contact Brenda.
Thanks for your help!

July 9th. I don't know if he got your
message or not but he wants to come
over tomorrow around 9 am and talk
about what you need for July 9th.
Is this OK with you.

requested that we add it to the agenda for our meeting in Roanoke

Subject: Joint Meeting With Roanoke City Council - July 9
In response to your memo of 6/7/96 on this subject I offer
the following comment:
July 9 is a scheduled board meeting date, and all the places
suggested in your memo are located some distance from the
RCAC, thereby requiring the joint meeting to terminate on
the early side.
An alternate suggested meeting place is the Brambleton
Center, which is much closer for both the City and County
participants and would allow them to tour the Teen Center.
