W. for the purpose of discussing property acquisition and school construction contracts. ######## ® Recycled Paper Performance Agreement For All Capital Construction Projects Of Roanoke County and Roanoke County Schools Before funding is approved for any capital construction project of the County of Roanoke or the County of Roanoke Schools, the following should be provided to the Board of Supervisors of the County of Roanoke. A complete project budget, showing the amount to be spent on land, construction, A&E, furniture and equipment, contingency, etc. This project budget should include everything necessary to complete the project, so that it is ready to place in service. 2. A detailed description of the building, to include the square footage, the number of rooms and the function of the rooms, and an architects rendering, if available. 3. A detailed description of the furniture and equipment that is included in the project. 4. The estimated annual operating cost of the new building, including personnel, utilities, and other costs that will be necessary to maintain and use the new building. 5. The offsetting savings to be realized by closing existing buildings and transferring existing personnel from another location. 6. The projected population that will utilize the new facility and the area of the County it will serve, if applicable. When the above criteria have been met, the Board of Supervisors will approve the award of the construction bid based upon the above information. Offices. Sue has prepared the call for the special meeting (to be signed by Mr. Johnson) and the waiver of notice documents. The requirements for special meetings have been revised by the recodification of Title 15.2, see Sec. 15.2-1418. This section provides in part as follows: the clerk of the governing body "shall immediatedly notify each member of the governing body and the attorney for the Commonwealth or the county or municipal attorney, as appropriate in writing delivered in person or to his place of residence or business to attend such meeting at the time and place stated in the notice." The provisions of Title 15.1 provided for mailing this notice 5 days in advance of the special meeting. This revision now provides for delivering the notice in person.
