The Board of Supervisors of Roanoke County, Virginia held a joint
Meeting with the Town of Vinton to tour various economic development sites in the
Town of Vinton. There is no audio or video recording of this meeting.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman Phil C. North; Supervisors Martha B. Hooker,
David F. Radford and P. Jason Peters
MEMBERS ABSENT: Supervisor George G. Assaid
STAFF PRESENT: Daniel R. O’Donnell, County Administrator; Richard L.
Caywood, Assistant County Administrator; Rebecca Owens,
Assistant County Administrator; Peter S. Lubeck, Senior
Assistant County Attorney; Jill Loope, Director of Economic
Development
TOWN OF VINTON: Council members Mike Stovall and Sabrina McCarty; Mayor
Brad Grose, Vice Mayor Keith Liles; and Richard “Pete”
Peters, Director of Economic Development

IN RE: NEW BUSINESS
The tour departed from the Vinton War Memorial and toured Macado’s,
Roanoke County Vinton Branch Library, Roland E. Cook Loft Apartments, Lancerlot
Sports Complex, Rosie’s Gaming Emporium, Pollard Street Gateway Economic
Development Project, William “Billy” Byrd Apartments and Vinyard Station and
concluded back at the Vinton War Memorial.
