County, Virginia, met this day at the Moody Center, Hollins
College, this being an adjourned meeting from January 19, 1988
for the purposes of a Board of Supervisors Retreat to be held¡

Retreat Facilitator James Thompson met with the Board
members, Constitutional Officers and staff to discuss the
following issues:
identification of accomplishments; review of
1987 goals, evaluation of goals, the role of elected officials,
establishing priorities and a look at the future and the past.
The Board recessed for lunch at 11:30 aomo and reconvened at 1:0011

Mr. Thomas and the board members discussed th
following issues at this session:
integration of establishe
priorities, determining strategies, establishing milestones,
public information, intergovernmental relations, public polic
seminar, and other topics of concern.
The board recessed for lunch and reconvened at 1:0
p.m. for an afternoon session.
