The Roanoke County Board of Supervisors of Roanoke
County, Virginia, met this day at the Roanoke County
Administration Center, this being an adjourned meeting from June
12, 1984.
IN RE: CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chairman Burton called the meeting to order at
10:00 a.m. The roll call was taken:

Minter

MEMBERS ABSENT:
Chairman, Harry C. Nickens
IN RE: EXECUTIVE SESSION
Supervisor Brittle moved to go into Executive Session
pursuant to the Code of Virginia, Section 2.1-344(a) (1), (2),
(4), and (6) to discuss personnel, real estate, location of a
prospective business or industry, and legal matters. The motion
carried by a unanimous voice vote.
IN RE: OPEN SESSION
At 12:15 p.m. Supervisor Minter moved to return to open
session, and the motion carried by a unanimous voice vote.

Supervisor Brittle moved to adjourn to Wednesday, June 20, 1984,
at 7:30 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall of the Roanoke Civic Center for
the purpose of a joint public hearing with the City of Roanoke
and the Town to Vinton to consider a request for a rate increase
by Roanoke Valley Cablevision. Further, that the County Board
also meet at 7:00 a.m. Friday June 22, 1984, to consider going
