The Board of Supervisors of Roanoke County, Virginia, met this
day in open session at the Roanoke County Administration Center, Roanoke,
Virginia, this being the continuation of the 1983 - 1984 Budget Study Work
Session.
IN RE:
CALL TO ORDER
At 4:15 p.m. Vice Chairman Nickens called the meeting to order. The
roll call was taken.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Vice Chairman Harry C. Nickens, Supervisors Athena E.
Burton, Gary J. Minter, Robert E. Myers
MEMBERS ABSENT:
Chairman May W. Johnson
IN RE:
WORK SESSION - BUDGET REVIEW
County Administrator, Donald R. Flanders, explained that Supervisors
Burton and Nickens had already submitted lists of questions. He called for
any other budget questions. There being none, a review was started with
Superintendent of the Department of Fiscal Management, John Chambliss, and
his Assistant, Diane Hyatt, providing the answers.

At 6:06 p.m. Vice Chairman Nickens called for a dinner recess.

and the motion carried by a unanimous voice vote.
