At 12:06 p.m., Supervisor Myers moved that t e Board go
into Executive Session to discuss legal and real state
matters, which motion was adopted by the followin, recorded

AYES: Mr. Compton, Mr. Myers, Mr. Park, Mr. Terry Mrs. Johnson
NAYS: None
At 2:48 p.m., on motion of Supervisor Myers nd a
unanimous voice vote, the Board reconvened in ope session.
IN RE: RESOLUTION NO. 2353 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT NG THE
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY SUPERVISOR OF
ROANOKE COUNTY TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF TH COUNTY
OF ROANOKE, A CERTAIN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THl CITY
OF ROANOKE AND THE COUNTY OF ROANOKE RELAT NG TO
SEWER AND WATER DISPUTES PRESENTLY EXISTIN BETWEEN
THE CITY AND THE COUNTY UPON CERTAIN TERMS lAND
CONDITIONS .

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Supervisors of
Roanoke County as follows:
1. That the Chairman of the Board of County Supervisors be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to execute a certain
agreement by and between the City of Roanoke and the County of
Roanoke relating to sewer and water disputes presently existing
between the City and the County upon all and singular the terms,
conditions, provisions and covenants set out is such agreement,
a copy of which is on file in the office of the Clerk of the
Board, the same to be duly attested by the Clerk of the Board
and to be otherwise upon form approved by the County Attorney;
and
2. That the County Executive be, and he hereby is,
authorized to authenticate the acceptance of said agreement, as
made and provided by law; and
3. That an attested copy of this resolution be forthwith
transmitted to Dr. Noel C. Taylor, Mayor of the City of Roanoke,
Virginia.
Supervisor Myers moved to approve the prepared resolution
with a clarification of Article 4.1 of the proposed contract,
which motion was adopted by the following. recorded vote:
AYES: Mr. Compton, Mr. Myers, Hr. Park, Mr. Terry, Mrs. Johnson
NAYS: None
IN RE: EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 2:53 p.m., Supervisor Myers moved that the Board go into
Executive Session to discuss a legal matter, which motion was
adopted by the following recorded vote:
AYES: Mr. Compton, Mr. Myers, Mr. Park, Mr. Terry, Mrs. Johnson
NAYS: None
At 3.10 p.m., on motion of Supervisor Myers and a unanimous
voice vote, the Board reconvened in open session.
IN RE: ADJOURNMENT
This concluded the business before the Board at this
session, and on motion of Supervisor Park and a unanimous voice
vote, the meeting was adjourned at 3:11 p.m.
