On April 18, 2007, an application was presented to the Board by Megan Cronise,
Planner II, on behalf of Ms. Twila Briscoe requesting approval in the amount of
$3,750.00 for a replacement fence at her business, Alpha Christian Child Care Center.
This application was approved according to the guidelines of the Commercial Corridor
Grant Program.
Upon inspection, Ms. Cronise found that 35 percent of the fencing had been
incorrectly installed. As the contract and application package reads, the applicant
could be denied any and all funds; however, the funds approved could be reduced by
35 percent, $1,317.50.
