I Variance requested by BSW International of Section 30-93-13(E)2. of the
Roanoke County Zoning Ordinance to increase allowable signage on the property
from 500 square feet to 1,365.42 square feet. The purpose of this request is to
install signage at a proposed Wal-Mart facility located southwest of the
intersection of U.S. 221/460 and Alternate Highway 220, Hollins Magisterial
District.
2. Variance requested by Alfred E. and Patsy G. Saunders of Sections 30-32-3(B)I.a
and 30-32-3(B)3.a of the Roanoke County Zoning Ordinance to reduce the
minimum front yard setback from 50 feet to 35.35 feet and to reduce the
minimum rear yard setback from 35 feet 2.6 feet, respectively. The purpose of
these requests is to permit the placement of an existing dwelling located at 3530
Simsmore Avenue, Vinton Magisterial District.
