(BOARD MEETING ROOM, BERNARD DRIVE) PUBLIC HEARING: A. Call to Order B. Approval of Agenda C. Public Hearing Petitions Variance requested by John Boyd Obenchain, Jr. of Sections 30-41-3(B)2.b and 30-41-3(C)I.b of the Roanoke County Zoning Ordinance to reduce the minimum required side yard from 10 feet to 8 feet and to increase the maximum permitted height from 15 feet to 18 feet, respectively. The purpose of this request is to permit an existing accessory structure at 6700 Hidden Woods Drive, Windsor Hills Magisterial District. 2. Variance requested by Alexander Newman of Section 30-93-13(E)3. of the Roanoke County Zoning Ordinance to reduce the minimum required frontage from 100 feet to 50.72 feet. The purpose of this request is to install a freestanding sign at 4119 Franklin Road, Cave Spring Magisterial District. 3. Variance requested by Skyway Outdoor, Inc. of Section 30-93-13(E)5. of the Roanoke County Zoning Ordinance to increase the maximum permitted freestanding sign height from 25 feet to 30 feet. The purpose of this request is to install a freestanding sign at 6520 Peters Creek Road, Hollins Magisterial District (First Team Nissan). 4. Variance requested by Mark Waters of Section 30-32-3(A)l.a of the Roanoke County Zoning Ordinance to reduce the required minimum lot area from 3 acres to 1.506 acres. The purpose of this request is to create a family exemption subdivision resulting in a parent tract size of less than 3 acres at 5596 Mount Laurel Road, Windsor Hills Magisterial District. D.
