PUBLIC HEARING
FEBRUARY 5, 2008

WORK SESSION:
Ms. Hooker called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.
Approval of Agenda:
Mr. Azar moved to approve the agenda. Motion passed 3 -0.
Approval of Consent Agenda:
Mr. Beard presented a brief overview of the consent agenda item. Commissioners and Planning
staff had a brief discussion of the petition.
Mr. Azar moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion passed 3 -0.
Ms. Hooker adjourned the work session for site viewing at 4.50 p.m.
EVENING SESSION:
Ms. Hooker called the meeting to order at 7:14 p.m.
Public Hearinq Petitions:
1. The petition of Grant Avenue Development to rezone 0.943 acre from R -2, Medium
Density Residential District, to C -2, General Commercial District, and to obtain a Special
Use Permit for a drive -in and fast food restaurant located at 7515 Friendship Lane,
Hollins Magisterial District. (Withdrawn by the Petitioner)
