PUBLIC HEARING: 7:00 P.M. BOARD MEETINGROOM
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)pandemic, allare encouraged to view and participate
through electronic means. This public hearing will be broadcast live so that members of the
public may view the meeting on Roanoke Valley Television–Channel 3(RVTV-3), or online
on the Roanoke County website: www.roanokecountyva.gov.(Click on the “Watch Board
Meetings Online”box/button).
Priorto and during the public hearing, citizens may share comments on the agenda items by
electronic mail (planning@roanokecountyva.gov)or by phone (540-776-7278). Please
include your name and address. Comments will be read aloud during the meeting, subject to
reasonable time limitations.

It is a long-standing tradition of the Roanoke County Planning Commission to offera
prayerorholdamomentofsilencepriortoconductingpublichearings.Thegoalof
thispracticeistosetthemindsofallwhoarepresenttoahigherpurposeandtoinvite
all to reflect upon shared ideals and commonends.
We invite County citizens of all faiths, who desire to lead such a prayer or momentof
silence, to please contact the administrative assistant at least two weeks inadvance.
Whennocitizenhasarrangedtoleadtheinvocation,amemberofthePlanning
Commission,inhisorherindividualcapacity,willdoso.Allwhoarepresentmay
choose whether to stand or otherwiseparticipate.

1. Thepetition ofMCE Owner Occupied, LLP to obtain a special use permit in a C-1,
Low Intensity Commercial, District to allow a multi-family use to account for more
than 50 percent of the gross floor area on the site on approximately 1.116 acres,
located at 3220 McVitty Road, Road, Windsor Hills Magisterial District.
2. Thepetition ofOm Shree Hospitality, LLC to rezone approximately 9.99 acres from
AG-1, Low Density Agricultural, District to C-2, High Intensity Commercial, District
for the construction of a hotel/motel/motor lodge, located near the 2700 block of
Wildwood Road and the 1700 block of Skyview Road, Catawba Magisterial
District.
G.Public HearingPetitions:
1.The petition of Wild Partners to obtain a special use permit in a C-2S, High
Intensity Commercial, District with special use permit to operate a car wash facility
on approximately 1.152 acres, located at 4065 Electric Road, Cave Spring
Magisterial District.
