J.Call to Order K.Invocation: Mr. Jim Woltz It is a long-standing tradition of the Roanoke County Planning Commission to offera prayerorholdamomentofsilencepriortoconductingpublichearings.Thegoalof thispracticeistosetthemindsofallwhoarepresenttoahigherpurposeandtoinvite all to reflect upon shared ideals and commonends. We invite County citizens of all faiths, who desire to lead such a prayer or momentof silence, to please contact the administrative assistant at least two weeks inadvance. Whennocitizenhasarrangedtoleadtheinvocation,amemberofthePlanning Commission,inhisorherindividualcapacity,willdoso.Allwhoarepresentmay choose whether to stand or otherwiseparticipate. L.Pledge of Allegiance M.Public Hearing: 1.Proposed amendment to the Roanoke County Comprehensive Plan. The proposed amendment would incorporate the Oak Grove Center Plan into the Roanoke County Comprehensive Plan. The Oak Grove Center Plan study area is approximately 173 acres in size located along Electric Road generally between Glen Heather Drive and Keagy Road. The study area is located in both Roanoke County and the City of Roanoke and includes Oak Grove Plaza,Southwest Plaza, Oak Grove Elementary School, Metis Plaza, and Keagy Village.
