2020 - Printed Town Calendar
Town of Vinton 2020 Calendar © Sherri Winkler Dear Citizen of Vinton: Have you ever been asked why you like your Town – VINTON? Maybe it’s because of the rich history and the generations of families who have lived here for so many years. Perhaps it’s the local traditions that you share with your children each year, such as the Dogwood Festival, Down- town Trick or Treat, or Christmas Parade. Maybe it is the unique variety of local businesses, restaurants, and rec- reation opportunities VINTON offers. Perhaps it is the sense of pride that you have by being involved in supporting your community and neighbors in some way. Is it the fact that VINTON is a safe community in which to raise your family? Or maybe because it is the IN place to be these days! Here’s how your Town Council members answered the question, “VINTON is…” Mayor Grose - “VINTON is an awesome place because of the wonderful people that live, work, shop and play in our town. We enjoy the feel of a close community with amenities and services found in larger cities. New people and businesses are always welcome in our exciting town.” Vice Mayor Liles - “VINTON is the place I am very proud to call home, and where positive change continues to flourish and attract citizens and visitors. Council Member McCarty - “VINTON is my home, it’s where I work, eat, live and play. I love VINTON.” Council Member Scheid - “VINTON is where I live and where I serve, but most importantly, it’s my home.” Council Member Stovall - “VINTON is where my heart is.” So, whether you are a longtime resident or a newcomer to our Town, we are so glad you are here and invite you to partake of all VINTON has to offer: EAT SHOP PLAY LIVE VINTON! Best, Vinton Town Council L-R: Mike Stovall, Mayor Brad Grose, Janet Scheid, Sabrina McCarty, Vice Mayor Keith Liles www.vintonva.gov www.facebook.com/invinton Billy BYRD APTS.
