Request to Convene in Closed Meeting, Pursuant to § 2.2-3711 (A) (3) of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, for discussion or consideration of the acquisition of real property located in the Vinton downtown area for a public purpose, where discussion in an open meeting would adversely affect the bargaining position or negotiating strategy of the public body. 2. Request to Convene in Closed Meeting, Pursuant to § 2.2-3711 (A) (7) for consultation with legal counsel and briefings by staff members pertaining to actual litigation, where such consultation or briefing in open meeting would adversely affect the Town's negotiating or litigating posture.
