H. PUBLIC HEARING
1. Consideration of public comments concerning the proposed amendment to the Town
of Vinton’s FY 2023-2024 budget to appropriate funding for various operational
expenditures, including additional paving, personnel expenditures, maintenance
projects, contractual services, and materials and supplies in the total amount of
$1,533,539.00 in the General Fund.

c. Consider the adoption of a Resolution to amend the Town of Vinton’s FY
2023-2024 budget to appropriate funding for various operational
expenditures, including additional paving, personnel expenditures,
maintenance projects, contractual services, and materials and supplies in the
total amount of $1,533,539.00 in the General Fund. – Town Manager

1. Consider the adoption of a Resolution authorizing the Town Manager to execute a
Collaboration Agreement with the Vinton Historical Society to operate the Vinton
History Museum. – Town Manager
2. Consider adoption of a Resolution authorizing the Town Manager to execute a
Contract for Professional Legal Services between the Town of Vinton and Roanoke
County Commonwealth’s Attorney. – Town Manager
3. Consider the possible write-off of liabilities in the Utility Fund as a result of the July 1,
2022, transfer of the water and wasterwater utility system to the Western Virginia
Water Authority. – Andrew Keen
