Chairman North had opening remarks and then
turned the meeting over to Mayor Grose to call the
Vinton Town Council meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
The Town Clerk called the roll with Council Member
McCarty, Council Member Scheid, Council Member
Stovall, Vice Mayor Liles and Mayor Grose present.
The first item on the agenda was a work session
with the Town of Vinton and Roanoke County tv
review a proposed Memorandum of Understanding.
Chairman North next turned the meeting over to the
County Administrator. After brief comments from the
County Administrator, Chairman North returned the
Roanoke County Board of Supervisors meeting back
to regular session.
Rebecca Owens next reviewed a PowerPoint
presentation, which will be on file in the Town Clerk's
Office as a part of the permanent record. Following
the PowerPoint presentation, the County
Administrator, Town Manager, Mayor and Board
Chairman made brief comments.
