Summary A briefing held at the October 17th Council Meeting covered details concerning the Town of Vinton being awarded a $500,000 Community-wide Brownfields Assessment Grant from the EPA and of the intention to hire an environmental consulting firm to assist with the grant administration, conduction of environmental assessments, preparation of conceptual site plans, the establishment of marketing materials, and assistance with the coordination of the steering committee.
